Whether it is simply replacing a pump or a complete renovation, M B Company is ready to assist with any needed repairs or remodels. MB is also a valuable resource in the process to comply with current codes and legislation, such as the Virginia Graeme Baker (VGB) Pool and Spa Safety Act. One of the key objectives for MB during the remodel process is to minimize any down-time and make the process as convenient as possible.
At MB Company, ‘Green Engineering’ is the process of specifying pool and water feature equipment that conserves finite and natural resources, specifically:
- Electricity
- Natural Gas
- Water
Another aspect of ‘Green Engineering’ considers alternate processes to reduce the amount of chemicals needed to keep the water balanced, clear, and sanitized.
‘Green’ is the state of being environmentally conscience.
An additional service that MB provides is ‘Value Engineering’. Based on our client’s preference, MB can specify equipment that will either reduce the one-time cost of purchasing the equipment or lower the long term costs of operating the equipment.
A benefit of the latter option is that it usually coincides with the values of ‘Green Engineering’ as well. Examples of equipment that reduces operating costs include: energy efficient pumps, variable speed drives, LED lighting, and others.
